Error codes

Error Codes​

HTTP status codes indicate the result of the HTTP request. Here are some common status codes you might encounter:

2xx (Success)​

  • 200 OK: The request was successful.
  • 201 Created: The request was successful and a resource was created.
  • 204 No Content: The request was successful, but there's no content to send back.

3xx (Redirection)​

  • 301 Moved Permanently: The requested resource has been permanently moved.
  • 304 Not Modified: The client can use cached data.

4xx (Client Error)​

  • 400 Bad Request: The request was invalid or cannot be served.
  • 401 Unauthorized: Authentication is required and has failed or has not been provided.
  • 403 Forbidden: The request is understood, but it has been refused or access is not allowed.
  • 404 Not Found: The requested resource could not be found.
  • 422 Unprocessable Entity: The request was well-formed but was unable to be followed due to semantic errors.

5xx (Server Error)​

  • 500 Internal Server Error: A generic error message when an unexpected condition was encountered.
  • 502 Bad Gateway: The server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
  • 503 Service Unavailable: The server is currently unable to handle the request due to temporary overloading or maintenance.
