๐Ÿงช API Sandbox Demo

This page demonstrates how you can use the API Sandbox to test Natech APIs in real-time.

Send an API requestโ€‹

Follow these steps to test any API endpoint from this page (or from any OpenAPI endpoint page):

1) Choose the server/base URL

  • Open the server selector in the right panel (or the Base URL field in the sandbox) and ensure it points to your sandbox domain.
  • If your endpoint supports multiple environments, pick the appropriate one before proceeding.

2) Fill path and query parameters

  • For parameters shown under Parameters, enter values for all required fields.
  • Path params replace placeholders in the URL (for example, {id}), while query params are appended as ?key=value.

3) Add headers

  • Add required headers (for example, Authorization: Bearer <token>, X-Request-ID, Content-Type).
  • Use the examples as a starting point, then adjust to your credentials and scenario.

4) Provide a request body (when applicable)

  • For POST/PUT/PATCH endpoints, paste or edit a JSON body in the Request Body area.
  • Ensure the JSON is valid; if unsure, copy the example and tweak values.

5) Review the final request

  • Check the Request URL preview to confirm path and query params are correctly inserted.
  • Verify method, headers, and body before sending.

6) Send the request

  • Click the Send API Request button (or the Send Request button in the sandbox component).
  • The live response will appear with status, headers, and a prettified body.

7) Inspect the response

  • 2xx responses indicate success; 4xx/5xx responses include error details and hints.
  • Use the response body and headers to validate your scenario.

Troubleshooting

  • 401/403: Check your token/API key, header names, and scopes.
  • 400: Validate required parameters and request body schema.
  • CORS errors: Use the Sandbox environment, or route through an allowed proxy if needed.
  • Timeouts: Verify the server URL and network connectivity; try simpler requests first.
